APPROACH
The site is a battle-axe block with an electrical easement and part-time creek to the rear. The major difficulty was to achieve access for three cars, and marry the addition to the existing house, whilst maintaining the minimum floor levels, and not exceeding height restrictions. A deck was chosen to minimise the amount of intersecting the existing roof and to take advantage of the morning sun.
RESULT
After a long period in council, construction went forward relatively smoothly and the result exceeded the clients expectations.
